Welcome to some of the best Black Bear and Moose hunting Northern Ontario has to offer.
We had a great year 2007 for both moose and black bear.
We are in the process of getting some photos here for you to see.
So, check back and let us help you make plans for next years hunt.
Our hunts are near Nakina, Ontario. We have black bear hunts out of our base camp on lower Twin Lake. Our Moose Hunts are fly in hunts to Teabeau Lake, Dusey Lake, and Miska Lake. We also have hunts out our base camp on Lower Twin Lake or Hanover Lake. These are drive to hunts.

Tom has fishing camps located North of Nakina, Ontario. These camps are on various lakes and rivers and are only accessible by air. Tom's Base Camps is located just east of Nakina via road and is the center of his fishing and hunting trips.

First off, where is Nakina??
Will there it is right on the above map.
It is about 220 miles (or about 355 km) Northeast of Thunder Bay. Thunder Bay is about 340 miles (550km) to Minneapolis/St. Paul and 780 miles (1255 km). From Nakina to Detroit is 855 miles (1375km) and 795 miles (1280km) to Toronto.

Tom has both Black Bear and Moose permits.
Tom's permits are for units 17, 18A, 18B, and 19 in Northern Ontario. In unit 17 we offer two fly-ins to Hebner Lake and Teabeau Lake for Moose. In unit 18A we have one fly-in and one drive in for both Moose and Black Bear. In units 18B and 19 we have two drive ins for both Moose and Black Bear.

There are two forms that you may need to get your firearm into Canada. The first one you absolutely need, the second is only needed if you have more than the first form will list.
I have them in a PDF format for you to print out and have ready when you non residents get to the border. Just remember not to sign it until you get to the border.
